Thai banana leaf wrapped sticky rice recipe (Banana and Glutinous Rice in Wraps, Kao Tom Mud)

Mix together coconut cream, sugar and salt in a one-quart measure. Soak glutinous rice in warm water for 4 hours and drain. Put glutinous rice and coconut milk into a 2-quart container, microwave, covered, at High (600-700 Watts) for 10 minutes. Add the mixture of coconut cream to the glutinous rice and stir well, cover, and set aside about 10-15 minutes. Spray the prepared banana leave with water and microwave for about ½ minute to be softened. Use 2 pieces of banana leaf at a time. Spread the glutinous rice on the banana leaf, put banana on the rice and top with another small portion of rice and black beans. Wrap well and bind 2 wraps of glutinous rice together with cooking thread. Place this Kao Tom Mud in the rack of the microwave steamer. Pour ¼ cup of water into the lower part of the container, cover, and steam at High for 5 minutes.
