Put taro and water in a 2-quart shallow container, cover and cook at High (600-700 Watts) for 10 minutes. Leave to cool, peel and cut into small pieces. Put taro into a work bowl of a food processor, use a metal blade, process for 2 minutes. Blend well coconut cream, sugar and salt and pour through the feeding tube while the machine is running. Process until well blended. Transfer the mixture to the large mixing bowl, cover with microwave plastic wrap, microwave at High for 12 minutes. Stir once and cook, uncovered, at High for 10 minutes. Stir thoroughly, microwave at High for 5 minutes. Stir again and microwave at High for 5 minutes to produce a very sticky mixture. Transfer taro to a 8″ square container, press well, leave to cool and cut into 2″ square pieces.
