    Tamarind Spicy Dip, Nam Prik Ma Kham sod Ingredients 10 young tamarind fruits 1 shallot, sliced 2 tablespoons ground dried shrimps 2 tablespoons palm sugar 2 tablespoons cooking oil 1 tablespoon sliced garlic 4 teaspoons shrimp paste* 1 tablespoon crushed small chillies 2 teaspoons fish sauce Skin tamarind fruits, rinse and drain. Grind together shrimp paste, garlic and shallots in an electric meat grinder. Add tamarind fruits, chillies and dry shrimp to the grinder, process until well blend. Taw Ingredients ½ cup Sa-Taw*, halved 7 prawns, shelled and cut lengthwise ¼ cup onion, wedged cụt 3 tablespoons cooking oil 1 teaspoon chopped garlic 1½ tablespoons coarsely chopped red chillies 1½ teaspoons shrimp paste 2 teaspoons lime juice 1½ tablespoons fish sauce 2 teaspoons castor sugar Heat the 10″x 10″ browning skillet in microwave oven at High (600-700 Watts) for 9 minutes. Put garlic, cooking oil, chillies, and shrimp paste in the skillet and stir fry until aromatic. Add prawns, Sa-Taw and toss lightly, season to taste with lime juice, fish sauce and castor sugar.
