Dried Beef with Crispy Kaprao

|1||red pepper, shredded|
Slice dried meat across the meat grain about ½” x 1 ½” pieces. Put cooking oil and garlic into a 6″x 6″ browning skillet and microwave, covered, at High (600-700 Watts) for 2 minutes. Toss in dried meat, red pepper and season with sugar, covered, and cook at High for 3-4 minutes. Stir and topped with crispy fried kaprao. Basil leaves can be substitued.
*Kaprao : ocinum sanctum, leaves are narrower and often tinged with reddish purple, it releases its aroma and flavour only when cooked. It is used with fish, beef, pork, and chicken.
