The same as the first mixture but replace 1 ½ tablespoons cake flour with cocoa powder. Sift all dry ingredients but sugar. Process all liquid ingredients and sugar in a food processor bowl with metal blade until smooth. Pulse in cake mixture. Pour ½ cup of the butter into a 2″ x 2″ container. Microwave at Medium High for 1.45 minutes each. There are 3 pieces of yellow cake and 3 pieces of dark cake. Cut each piece into 3 sections lengthwise. Arrange these pieces into a chequer board design, brushing and sealing with chocolate filling. Frost with coffee icing and coat with melted plain with melted plain chocolate.
Blend well instant coffee, milk, vanilla essence and salt., Whip shortening, butter with an electric mixer in a medium size mixing bowl until fluffy. Gradually add icing sugar and milk. Whip until well blended.
Mix sugar, cocoa powder and cornflour together in a 4 cup measure. Gradually stir in the mixture of milk and vanilla. Microwave, covered, at High (600-700 Watts) for 6 minutes. Stir 1-2 times.
