Angle Cake Recipe
|½||cup||chopped red glazed cherries|
|¼||teaspoon||cream of Tar Tar|
Sift well dry ingredients. Put shortening, sugar, milk and vanilla into the work bowl of a food processor. Use a metal blade and process until well blended, mix in chopped cherries. Pour the mixture into a large mixing bowl. Beat egg whites and cream of Tar Tar with an electric mixer until fluffy and set. Fold egg white mixture into the batter. Pour cake batter into 12 cup bundt or 2 pounds tubemold. Microwave at High (600-700 Watts) for 7-7½ minutes. Frost with yolk frosting.
