Monkey Bread, what a delicious treat that is easy to make and share with your kids or friends! I like to use this recipe on Sunday mornings while making breakfast with the family.

This recipe can get a little messy! Just be prepared to have some sticky finger, at least it is a delicious mess.

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 cans biscuit dough

How to Make Monkey Bread in the Microwave – Step by Step

  1. In a microwave bowl, place butter and microwave on high for about 45 seconds or until melted, mix in sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon
  2. Cut biscuit dough into squares and place in a microwave safe bundt pan
  3. Pour butter and sugar mixture over biscuit squares and mix to coat all of them evenly
  4. Microwave on high for 5 minutes, remove, flip out on a plate and allow it to cool
  5. Enjoy!

Tips For Making the Perfect Monkey Bread in the Microwave

To better coat your monkey bread, you can opt to make a mixture of white sugar and cinnamon to toss your squares of dough in. Afterwards, pour the butter and brown sugar mixture over the dough after it is placed in the bundt pan.
