This recipe is perfect for when you just need a single serving dessert. That way it’s easier to keep yourself from indulging in an entire batch of freshly baked cookies!

Can’t I Just Microwave Store Bought Cookie Dough?

I mean you could, but I have tried doing that before and it did not work out so well for me! All I have to say is, unless you like scraping your cookie off of a plate before eating it, I highly recommend make your single serving cookie from scratch and in the microwave.

Sure, I probably could have greased the plate more or maybe I cooked it for a little too long, but either way, making a cookie from scratch always tastes better than a store bought one.

  • Marshmallows
  • M&M’s
  • Broken up pieces of any candy bar
  • Sprinkles

Do I Need to Grease the Inside of the Ramekin/Mug?

Nope! The 1/2 tbsp of butter that you use in this recipe is enough to grease the sides of your microwave safe dish. If your cookie keeps sticking, try adding more butter.
